This slide presentation portrays inclusion at an elementary school
in an urban community. The lesson will introduce several facets
of inclusion in a primary grade setting. You will see many images
of children and adults interacting in an inclusive educational environment.
- After completing this lesson you will be able to :

- articulate many of the benefits of an inclusive educational
setting and describe some of the benefits that parents appreciate.
- describe how all children receive support and become full
members of the classroom community.
- define terms currently used in inclusive education.
After viewing the presentation you can complete the activity which
consists of short answer questions regarding the vocabulary used
to describe inclusive practices and the information conveyed by
the presentation.
