  • Tantrums for non-preferred tasks generally last an average of 5 minutes.

  • Nick often tantrums and refuses to alow his teeth to be brushed, throwing himself to the ground. Recently he has begun coughing and almost gagging at the sight of his tooth brush. Currently no toothpaste is used.

  • Nick uses mostly label type answers (rather than descriptive or action words) to questions and accurately answers 40% of questions related to story content. Nick is unable to tell simple stories using picture story books.

  • Nick requires prompts to go to the bathroom, ... resulting in several small accidents each day.

  • Nick can fasten and unfasten the buttons on the button bags but not on himself and zip and unzip his coat if it is started.

  • Nick can answer yes/no questions about feeling happy or sad, but has trouble labeling other emotions he may be feeling. He also has difficulty labeling those emotions in pictures or those around him. He can, however, label sad and empathize with children who are sad, often telling them "You OK. All done crying."

  • Nick currently tantrums when asked to do cutting and requires physical assistance to do any cutting with scissors.

  • Nick currently resists drawing with paper and marker/pencil.
