Welcome to the Circle of Inclusion Profiler!

What is the Profiler?

The Profiler system is comprised of two parts:
"Taking a survey" and "Viewing a graphical result of the survey (create your own profile)".
The survey asks you to rate how much you know about inclusive programs and services in relation to the information we offer in our Cirlce of Inclusion website.

Why is it helpful to use the Profiler?

Assess your current knowledge about " inclusion" and document your progress in the acquisition of new knowledge. Graphic of profile example

Our survey questions are divided into six areas: Inclusion; Models & Implementation; Teams; Accommodations; Communications; and Further Panning.

Since each group is color-coded as seen in the Example of Profile, which appears on the right on this page, you can see which area(s) you know the most and which area(s) you need more information.

If you print your current profile and then periodically retake the survey and print your updated profile - you will be able to document and compare your knowledge about inclusive programs and services across time.

Quickly locate the information you want in the Circle of Inclusion web site.

After you take the survey and submit it, you will see the graphical view of the result of your survey responses - (i.e., your own profile). If you click on a specific number of a survey question, you'll automaticaly be able to view the Tutorial Page for that item, which is a list of related links from the Circle of Inclusion website that offers more information on the item. arrowSee an example of Tutorial Page

Use the "Expert" feature of the Profiler to link with other users of our website.

1. Contact an Expert:

As you point your mouse toward a particular survey number on your profile (i.e., graphical results of your survey), you will see an "Expert List" on your right side, a list of users' names who rated their knowledge on the particular question as #3 (I know about this, but would like more information or #4 (I know about this so well I could teach others about it) and who registered their e-mail addresses when they create accounts. You may contact these users via e-mail .

2. Share your own expert knowledge:

If you register your e-mail address when you create an account (see below on how to create an account), both your name and your e-mail address will be listed on the "Experts List", which means you open the door to other people, who may want to learn from you, to contact you. If you don't feel comfortable about being contacted, DO NOT register your e-mail when you create an account! You can always do so later if you want. arrowSee an example of an Expert List

How to learn more about the Profiler?

Visit the "Profiler: Frequently asked questions" page at http://profiler.hprtec.org/profiler/manual/

Please Note:

When you take the survey, notice there is a checkbox following after "Share survey results within your building?" right above the survey (See an example below).

Share survey results within your building? Check Box

If the box is checked, it means your name will appear in "View other profiles at Circle of Inclusion" section and your profile (the graphic view of your survey results) may be seen by other people who go to this section. If you do not feel comfortable sharing your graphical profile with others, do not put a mark in the checkbox. You can change it later if you want.
