Chelie, from White replied:

I had a friend who worked at White Elementary for one year before I came. It was through her experiences and sharing that I began to see the benefits of inclusion. Once I began working, I attended several conferences, a KITS (Kansas Inservice Training System) summer institute and read several books on inclusion. The best experience came from being part of a team and growing together to help solve problems for children.

Carol, from Barkley replied:
I have teamed with wonderful teachers who share valuable information from a variety of disciplines with me. I learn so much from them and from parents who share concerns with me.

Helen, from Opportunity Preschool replied:

Sarah, from Tri-County replied:
Inclusive strategies from: on the job experience - I'm new enough to the field that inclusion was a buzz word during my practicum experiences. Also, I have worked with some very willing and open teachers.
