Liz, from Tri-County replied:
I am responsible for my student's receiving services indicated on her/his IEP (Individualized Education Program). I provide resources in different inclusive programs depending on the needs.

Nancy, from Barkley replied:
I am part of the "teaching team" in our classroom and have particular responsibility as the IEP (Individualized Education Program) manager for the children with special needs.

Pam, from Raintree replied:
I teach a 21/2 to 6 year classroom and coordinate the inclusion of students with disabilities into my class and other rooms in the school. I also supervise practicum students and para support personnel placed in classrooms to support inclusion.

Paula, from Bright Futures replied:
I teach the full day preschool classroom as an ECSE teacher and consult with the teacher in another room concerning her ECSE children.

Renee, from White replied:
I work in PreK, K and 1st grade classrooms; sharing time with our Paraprofessional according to the needs of the children with special needs. We work to enhance the ability for children to meet IEP goals within the structure of the regular class setting. I manage and monitor IEPs, through teacher training and support. Other job roles are: to learn from all professionals on the team, work with parents through guidance and support, to make adaptations to curriculum and strategies that will benefit ALL children. Often I am the first to introduce a behavior program to a child; then model it for the teacher and paraprofessional. The intent is for the teacher and child to be able to continue the plan. An inclusion teacher's job is well done, when she can step back and see things happen without her.

Sharon, from St. Ben's Infant/Toddler replied:
Teacher in home-based program working with special needs children ages 0 - 3 and their parents. Teacher 4 mornings per week in inclusive child care settings.

Tina, from St. Ben's Preschool replied:
ECSE teacher in the classroom.
